Three standing committees are responsible for reporting on and making recommendations to the Board of Directors on various aspects of the organization.
The GSC supports the Board in three areas:
Governance: Supports the Board to fulfil its commitment to and responsibility for sound and effective governance of the Agency
Nominations: Manages the process to identify potential nominees for the Board to recommend for appointment and for the Board to appoint to committees
Orientation and Education: Supports the Board to ensure that new directors receive adequate and appropriate orientation and that all directors are provided with ongoing education to assist them in fulfilling their duties effectively
The SPSC reviews and advises the Board in support of the Agency’s strategic planning, performance measurement, quality assurance and stakeholder engagement processes and monitors and advises the Board on progress against goals.
The AFSC ensures that the Agency conducts itself according to the principles of ethical financial and management behaviour and that it is efficient and effective in its use of public funds by overseeing the Agency’s accounting, financial reporting and audit practices.
