High immunization coverage is essential for the effective prevention and control of vaccine-preventable diseases. PHO monitors vaccine coverage among students across Ontario’s publicly-funded immunization programs.
Provincial Infectious Diseases Advisory Committee
The Provincial Infectious Disease Advisory Committee on Immunization (PIDAC-I) applies the best available evidence to provide recommendations on vaccine-related issues and vaccine program delivery.
