ImmunizeCA is a new mobile app that enables individuals to keep track of their own and their families’ immunizations. This presentation will describe the rollout of the app and potential opportunities for the app to interact with immunization information systems.

Presenter: Dr. Kumanan Wilson

Dr. Kumanan Wilson is a specialist in General Internal Medicine at the Ottawa Hospital. He is a professor of medicine at the University of Ottawa and senior scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. He also holds a research chair in Public Health Policy.
 
Dr. Wilson has examined immunization policy, the use of social media to communicate vaccine messages, and the safety of pediatric vaccines. He is also the co-developer of the ImmunizeCA app.
