Engaging priority populations in public health programs can often be challenging. This session will highlight the CASTLE project, which focuses on increasing cancer screening rates in low-income neighbourhoods. It will showcase the project model/structure, describe the role of public health in this type of work, and explain the Community Health Broker outreach role working in priority neighbourhoods. 

Presenters: Marty Mako and Jessica Wallace

Marty Mako is a health promoter with Niagara Region Public Health.
Jessica Wallace is a public health nurse with Hamilton Public Health.
