An expert Sodium Working Group, convened by Health Canada, has released the Sodium Reduction Strategy for Canada, a document of significance in the population-based prevention of negative health effects of high sodium consumption. To discuss this public health topic, the Public Health Ontario (PHO) and its partner, the Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC), would like to invite you to attend an upcoming webinar on Sodium Reduction as a Public Health Strategy.

This webinar will inform participants about recommendations on sodium reduction made by leading government agencies and advisory groups.  It will also identify opportunities to support lowering the dietary intake of sodium through public education, policy and/or environmental change at the local level.
