The Ontario Public Health convention (TOPHC) is hosted jointly by Public Health Ontario (PHO), the Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA), and the Association of Local Public Health Agencies (alPHa).

The theme for TOPHC 2016 is “Collaborate. Innovate. Transform”.  After reflecting on public health’s ability to adapt to a changing world last year, the TOPHC Program Committee challenges participants at TOPHC 2016 to examine how all three actions (collaboration, innovation and transformation) can work in unison to move public health forward.  By thinking critically of the intersections of these three areas both within the health and social sectors as well as across other sectors (e.g. education and environment), we can better chart a course forward in an ever-evolving public health world and produce better health outcomes for the populations we serve.
