This presentation will describe the recommended approaches for diagnosis, treatment, and management of N. gonorrhoeae in Ontario. The underlying evidence is presented in a review of the Guidelines for Testing and Treatment of Gonorrhea in Ontario, 2013.

Presenter: Dr. Vanessa Allen

Dr. Vanessa Allen is a medical microbiologist and infectious disease specialist at the Public Health Ontario Laboratories and Sunnybrook Health Science Centre. Her expertise and research interests focus on the intersection between laboratory sciences and clinical and public health practice in the areas of bacterial sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and enteric diseases.
