User Registration FAQs
Please note that the website is currently not compatible with Apple products, including Apple's Safari browser, and mobile devices at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please use Internet Explorer 10 or above on a Windows computer. Thank you for your understanding.
 
I never received my account registration confirmation email.

If you have not received our confirmation email, the following reasons may apply:

  1. You may have mistyped your email address, in which case your account cannot be created. Please register again and provide your correct email address.
  2. Please check that our confirmation email did not land in your junk mail or spam folder.
My confirmation email link has expired. Can you send it again?

If you registered on our website but did not confirm registration, your account will automatically expire after 72 hours. You will need to register again on our site.

I have forgotten my password.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it here. Please note that, for security reasons, if you try to input your old password three or more times the system will automatically lock you out for approximately 15 minutes. Please wait for 15 minutes and then reset your password. 

I have forgotten my username.

Your username is the email addresses you submitted to register your account with us. Please check your inbox, spam and junk folders for our confirmation email.

I cannot reset my password. Please send me my password.

For security reasons it is best practice to reset your own password. When resetting your password, please do not use a password that has been used previously. Passwords cannot include part of your first name or last name. If you try to input your old password three or more times, the system will automatically lock you out for approximately 15 minutes. Please wait for 15 minutes and then reset your password.

Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and include:

  • At least 1 UPPER case letter
  • At least 1 lower case letter
  • At least 1 number (e.g. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0)
Please remember to note your new password for future use.  
My account is locked. I keep entering my username and password but your system is not letting me in.

Can I change my username?

Your username is the email account you registered with us, and this cannot be changed.

Can I change my first and last name?

You may change your first and last name by:

  1. Clicking the green “Login” button in the top right corner of your screen
  2. Followed by clicking the blue “My profile” button
My password has expired. How do I reset it?

If you password has expired, you will be asked to change your password when you login to our website. When resetting changing your password, please do not use a password that has been used previously. Passwords cannot include part of your first name or last name. To change your password, you will need to enter.

  • Old Password (your existing password)
  • New Password (enter new password)
  • Confirm Password (enter new password again)

If you have forgotten your old password, please reset your password.

I cannot login to the Public Health Ontario website.

Please note that the website is optimized for an updated version of Internet Explorer on a Windows operating system.

  1. Please ensure that you are running the most recent version of your Internet browser.
  2. At this time, the website is not compatible with mobile devices. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  3. Please ensure that you're Internet connection is sound by consulting with your IT Department.
