Reprocessing in the Community Best Practices for Environmental Cleaning for Prevention and Control of Infections, 3rd Edition.

This document was updated in March 2018 to inlcude current evidence in environmental cleaning, audit methodologies, and new disinfection strategies.


Documents in pre-release

Best practice documents posted in pre-release give stakeholders an opportunity to provide feedback and scientific comment on new and emerging science. All feedback provided by stakeholders will be considered by PIDAC before a document is finalized and posted on our website. There are currently no documents in pre-release.

Documents under review

PIDAC best practice documents are reviewed every 2 years for new and emerging science. The process includes a review of literature as well as consultation with experts in infectious and communicable diseases and others whose expertise will inform the review and update of these documents.
