Best practice documents posted in pre-release give stakeholders an opportunity to provide feedback and scientific comment on new and emerging science. All feedback provided by stakeholders will be considered by PIDAC before a document is finalized and posted on our website. There are currently no documents in pre-release.
PIDAC best practice documents are reviewed every 2 years for new and emerging science. The process includes a review of literature as well as consultation with experts in infectious and communicable diseases and others whose expertise will inform the review and update of these documents.
This document provides best practice recommendations meant to support public health staff in Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) programs in Ontario Public Health Units (PHUs).
