PHO Grand Rounds: Immunization Coverage in Ontario since the implementation of Panorama (2013-14 to 2015-16 school years)
Tuesday, June 6, 2017 12:00 pm to 01:00 pm
Venue: 661 University Ave. 17th Floor Toronto ON M5G 1M1
Infectious Diseases
City: Toronto
Type: PHO Grand Rounds
Format: In Person; Webinar
About the presentation:
This presentation will highlight key findings from a PHO report on immunization coverage that will be released in June 2017.

The report marks several important milestones for Ontario: it is the first immunization coverage report using data derived from the Digital Health Immunization Repository (“Panorama”), the first to use up-to-date coverage methodology and the first to publicly report on immunization coverage for individual health units.

In this presentation, provincial coverage estimates for Ontario’s publicly funded immunization programs will be reviewed for school-aged students and described in relation to both recent provincial trends and to national coverage targets.
About the presenters:
Andi Bunko is an Epidemiologist Lead with the Immunization and Vaccine Preventable Diseases (IVPD) team at Public Health Ontario (PHO). She has a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) from the University of Michigan.
