This webcast is the third in a series that will discuss mass gatherings and the importance of practicing a planned drill prior to an event in order to be prepared. The focus will be on translating a plan into immediate action.

Throughout this series, the Disaster Preparedness for Healthcare Facilities book will be referenced. The book presents how to plan for overcoming disasters/emergency situations, and how to assess the risks and readiness of a health care facility. A variety of checklist templates and leading principles for emergency preparedness are also included.

This webcast is targeted at hospital chief executive officers, chiefs of staff, VPs of clinical services, chief human resources officers, senior administrators, board members, occupational health and safety administrators, infection control practitioners, human resources professionals, public relations/communications staff, emergency preparedness leads, emergency response teams, risk managers, and environmental services professionals.
