​PHO and The Program Training and Consultation Centre will host a live webcast on May 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Evidence to Guide Action:Comprehensive Tobacco Control in Ontario 2016, a report of the Smoke-Free Ontario Scientific Advisory Committee (SFO-SAC 2016). The Report is set for release at the end of April 2017.

The focus of the webcast will be to present major highlights from the Report, with an emphasis on increasing the awareness of the current evidence in tobacco control and to explain the major changes from the SFO-SAC 2010 Report. Opportunities for implementing different interventions within Ontario at the local and provincial levels will also be highlighted.
