Yersiniosis
Yersiniosis is a disease caused by the bacteria Yersinia. It associated with consuming food or beverages contaminated with the bacteria. Many cases of yersiniosis are related to eating raw or undercooked pork. Symptoms of yersiniosis can include diarrhea, which can be bloody, fever and abdominal pain. Practicing good hand hygiene and safe food handling practices can help prevent yersiniosis.
