Our laboratory works to provide test results in a timely manner through authorized health care professionals. To learn more about specific test information including samples submission instructions and turnaround times, please visit the test information page for the organism or disease.
Get Test Results
If you are an individual looking for your test results, please contact the location where you were tested or your health care provider. PHO does not provide test results directly to patients.
Qualified health care providers can receive test results in the following ways:
Auto Faxing
Test results will be faxed to the health care provider’s validated autofax number. To sign up for autofaxing, health care providers should call our Customer Service Centre at 416-235-6556 or toll free 1-877-604-4567.
Online
Laboratory test results are available to registered healthcare providers through the ONE Health Portal.
Mail
Health care providers that have not registered for autofax will receive test results by mail to the address provided on the submission form.
Results
Qualified health care providers: laboratory test results are available to registered healthcare providers through the eHealth Ontario Portal.
For patients: PHO's laboratory does not provide test results directly to patients. Contact your healthcare provider to obtain your laboratory test results.

STAT and Critical Sample Water Testing
PHO’s laboratory is committed to prioritizing testing to assist Official Agencies important decisions in an urgent or emergency circumstance (“STAT”). Contact the laboratory directly in the event that a public health emergency arises and sampling is required. When the laboratory is closed, please contact the PHOL Duty Officer at 416-605-3113.
