Poisoning

Poisoning is a serious condition that results from swallowing, inhaling, injecting or absorbing a harmful substance into the body. Effects of poisoning range from short-term illness to brain damage, coma and even death. Poisonous substances can be found in and around your home, work and public places. Common substances that may result in poisoning include medicines, drugs, household cleaners, alcohols and personal care products. This page contains documents and resources related to poisoning.

PHO Webinar: Trauma-and Violence-Informed Approaches to Completing Mental Health Assessments: GAD-7 and C-SSRS

This session will explore the application of trauma- and violence-informed (TVIC) principles in administering mental health assessment tools, such as the Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) Scale and the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS).
