Locally Driven Collaborative Projects Call for Proposals
PHO’s Locally Driven Collaborative Projects (LDCP) program brings together public health units – along with academic and community partners – to collaboratively design and implement applied research and program evaluation projects on important public health issues of shared interest.
LDCP recently launched its 2024/2025 funding cycle call for proposals “Improving the Quality in Public Health Programs”. The aim of this funding is to foster research and evaluation opportunities that will improve the quality (with a particular focus on efficiency and effectiveness), of public health programs in the short-term, and contribute to the long-term strengthening of Ontario’s public health system. Successful projects will be funded up to $100,000 each between September 2024 and March 2025.
Intended audience: Public Health Units (managers, MOHs/AMOHs)
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the purpose and structure of the LDCP program
- Understand the theme for the 2024/2025 funding period 3
- Explain the various types of technical and logistical supports offered to LDCP participants
- Understand the application process for the current funding period
