Cyclosporose
La cyclosporose est une maladie intestinale causée par le parasite Cyclospora cayetanesis, non endémique en Ontario, que l’on retrouve dans les pays au climat tropical ou subtropical. Les cas répertoriés dans la province sont liés soit aux voyages, soit à l’importation de nourriture. Des éclosions antérieures ont été associées à des produits et à des plantes importés. La maladie, qui provoque la diarrhée, peut être traitée à l’aide d’antibiotiques.
