Resources for Trainers: IPAC for Health Care Workers

These resources support trainers/facilitators in conducting instructor‑led or group‑based infection prevention and control (IPAC) training for health care workers. They provide a ready‑to‑use package for hospitals, long‑term care, primary care, dental clinics, home care and other health care settings. Because these resources align with our IPAC for Health Care Workers  online course, organizations can deliver consistent, standardized IPAC training across multiple formats—whether online, in the classroom, or during workplace onboarding.

The resources below include a trainer guide and participant handbook to support interactive, in‑person training, along with three presentations introducing key IPAC principles, applying routine practices, and understanding the categories and elements of additional precautions, specific for each health care setting. A certificate of completion is also included to document successful participation.
