CBRN Hazards

A CBRN exposure refers to contact with chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear hazards released into the environment through accidental or intentional events, which may pose a risk to human health.

Developed in partnership with the Ontario Poison Centre (OPC), these resources support first receivers – health care providers who receive patients and deliver initial emergency care – in assessing and managing patients with known or suspected exposure to CBRN hazards, with a focus on chemical agents.
