Resources for Preventing Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Lapses

An infection prevention and control (IPAC) lapse occurs when there is deviation from IPAC best practices resulting in possible infectious disease transmission to patients, clients or staff. We offer resources and advice to support public health units in preventing and investigating lapses in community settings such as clinics, clinical office practices, family health teams, community health and personal services settings.
