Entérovirus D68
L’entérovirus D68 (EV-D68) cause des troubles respiratoires aigus. Les symptômes vont d’une légère affection semblable au rhume, avec toux et respiration sifflante, jusqu’à des infections graves nécessitant l’hospitalisation. Les infections à l’entérovirus sont plus courantes vers la fin de l’été et à l’automne, avec quelques variations d’une année à l’autre.

The first session will provide an overview of current epidemiological trends for COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) activity in Ontario, Canada and internationally. The session also describes the planned approach to testing across the provincial laboratory network for respiratory viruses for the 2026–27 season.
