West Nile Virus Surveillance

The West Nile Virus Surveillance Tool summarizes Ontario mosquito, human and weather data. It is updated each Wednesday from July to October, with data provided by local public health units (mosquito and human data), as well as Environment Canada (weather data).

This tool allows users to easily access and customize data based on their own needs and preferences. You can view current and historic trends of West Nile Virus seasons; activity by public health unit (PHU) and vector; maps by PHU, trap locations and weather; as well as tables by species, week and vector index.

Visit the Public Health Agency of Canada to view Canadian West Nile Virus data and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to view West Nile Virus data from the United States.
