
Enterovirus D68
Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) causes acute respiratory illness. Symptoms range from a mild cold-like illness with coughing and wheezing to severe infections that require hospitalization. Enterovirus infections are more common during late summer into fall, with some variation each year.
