Mental Health

Mental health is influenced by social, biological, psychological and economic factors. Further, mental illness affects about one out of every five Canadians at some point in their lifetime, including a wide range of conditions such as depression and schizophrenia. Mental health promotion strategies help to strengthen policy, people and communities. This enables individuals to enjoy fulfilling lives, build and sustain relationships and participate in their community. We offer expertise and resources for population-based mental health promotion, mental illness and addressing the social determinants of health.
