Healthy Environments

Our environment is a combination of physical, chemical or biological factors around us that can affect our health. This includes air pollution, the built environment, noise and our climate. By addressing modifiable environmental factors, we can reduce the risk of chronic diseases and injuries and enhance child development and mental health. We assess how environmental factors can improve or worsen health and provide guidance on promoting healthy environments.
