Substance use refers to the consumption of alcohol, cannabis, opioids or other drugs. Substance use may lead to substance use disorders, overdose, infectious diseases or other complications. PHO Grand Rounds: “Communities are attempting to tackle this crisis”: a scoping review of community overdose responses

Using integrated knowledge translation, we involved experts and knowledge users in conducting, interpreting, reporting and discussing the application of these findings.

This presentation summarizes our preliminary results and considers how this knowledge could be used to inform practice across Canada.
