The Inaugural Canadian Public Health Week

April 4th, 2022 marks the beginning of the first ever Canadian Public Health Week (CPHW), a campaign that aims to bring together communities across Canada to recognize the contributions of public health and its workforce, and highlight issues that are vital to improving the health of Canadians. This campaign supports Global Public Health Week.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, communities have learned that ensuring public health remains visible and understood is an integral part of emergency preparedness and the overall health of Canadians.

CPHW aims to educate communities about the importance of improving health through prevention, protection and promotion.
